Ed Stobbs began selling cars in 1947. He sold Kaiser-Frazer autos before the company halted production in the early 1950's.
That was the beginning of Stobbs Sales, which included a gas station and car sales. Oldsmobile was added in 1948, GMC trucks in 1949, Pontiac in 1955, and Chevrolet in 1986. Ed's son, Keith, took over the ownership in 1983.
